**************
Morgan Howson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 52326) working with individuals, couples, and families in Mill Valley and via Zoom for California residents. She specializes in trauma and is especially skilled in supporting perinatal clients. A Certified EMDR Therapist, and an Approved Consultant for The EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), Morgan believes that the more we can understand and have compassion for all parts of ourselves, the more we can access connection and fulfillment in life.  Morgan founded this practice in 2012 and re-envisioned it as the Headlands Psychotherapy Group with Ellen Hathaway in 2020.

Morgan has previously held roles as Adjunct Faculty at The California Institute for Integral Studies (CIIS) and Psychology Instructor for Mount Tamalpais College at San Quentin State Prison.  She supervised pre-licensed clinicians at Haight Ashbury Psychological Services in San Francisco from 2016-2021 and served as the Upper School Counselor at Burke’s School in San Francisco from 2010-2015.  She continues to consult for K-12 schools across the Bay Area.

Outside of her work at Headlands, Morgan is committed to teaching, training and mentoring in the broader mental health community. She enjoys facilitating conversations about mental and emotional wellbeing in a variety of academic and community settings ranging from local preschools to nationally accredited universities.
