Eugenia Tarzibachi, LMFT

Eugenia Tarzibachi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #146183) working with adults, children, and families in our San Francisco office, as well as online via Zoom to California residents. She is a bilingual psychotherapist (English/Spanish) with over 20 years of experience practicing in both Argentina and the United States. 

Her specialties include trauma, Women’s Health (PMDD/PMS, perinatal complications, postpartum adjustment, etc.), peak performance, acculturation, life transitions, and anxiety. She also excels at facilitating dyadic work between caregivers and babies, and in providing therapy for children. She works from a strong background in Psychoanalysis, integrated with other evidence-based approaches: primarily EMDR Therapy, but also DBT skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and parts work. 

Eugenia has devoted her professional life to the promotion of gender equality through academic research, public policy, and teaching in the areas of sexual and reproductive health. Outside of private practice, she is an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco and works part-time as a mental health clinician for survivors of domestic violence in an agency setting. She is the published author, in both English and Spanish, of one book, several articles, and numerous research studies.
