Lee Brock, AMFT

Brock (he/him) is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 136434) providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and families in our Mill Valley and San Francisco locations, as well as via Zoom for California residents. Brock is a trauma-informed clinician, trained in EMDR Therapy. He works largely from a psychodynamic frame and believes that strengthening relationships with others is a foundational aspect of healing. Brock invites his clients to connect with their values to inspire growth and transformation. He often supports individuals with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and challenging family relationships. He is particularly attuned to helping clients who are exploring or expressing a queer or trans identity.

Brock's passion for relational work grew out of his time as an Episcopal chaplain and practicing in school-based settings in San Francisco and Marin County. He believes the painful turning points in our lives hold potential for self-understanding, newfound creativity, and meaningful paths forward. And that they can inspire our inborn compassion, bravery, hope, and determination.

Brock is a twin, a trans person, and a lover of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
